Freshly cleaned and refurbished, here's a set of 4 industrial casters in an ultra-cool double-wheel design with a luscious old patina. Swiveling and self-leveling: wheel assembly tilts from side to side, keeping wheels in contact with uneven surfaces.
I've coated the wheel tread with brush-on black rubber to make them kinder to your flooring. It's not a heavy coat, nor intended for utilitarian function...just enough to put a barrier between their iron wheels and flooring for a piece that will see seldom movement.
2 3/4” overall height. 2 1/4” wheels. 1 7/8” x 2 7/8” mounting plates.
In exceptional functioning condition! Scoured with power wire brushes to remove thick rust, then hand washed, leaving a luscious aged patina. Ready to turn up the drama on your project!
These are the 1906 (and later, 1921) Run Rite No. 6 caster by The Hamilton Caster & Manufacturing Company of Hamilton, OH. Marketed to turn-of-the-century New England woolen mills with its fully enclosed axle to keep fibers from clogging the wheels and ensuring the factory carts Run Rite.
